Young Kim’s Prolific Fundraising Solidifies CA-39 as top Pick-up Opportunity for House Republicans
Fullerton, CA – Today, former State Assemblywoman Young Kim announced she raised over $1.23 million in the Federal Election Commission’s 2nd quarter, making her one of the top fundraisers amongst challengers in the country. Young Kim for Congress has surpassed $3 million raised during the 2020 election cycle and closes the fundraising period with over $1.5 million cash on hand.
Young Kim has repeatedly earned recognition for her impressive digital fundraising program which brought in nearly $550,000 in the second quarter from almost 17,000 individual donors and over 26,000 donations. Young’s strong digital fundraising program has raised over $1.16 million since she launched her campaign.

California’s 39th District is consistently rated as a toss-up for the November election. In the March 2020 primary, Young Kim bested Cisneros 48.4% to 46.8%.
