Rep. Young Kim Raises Nearly $1 Million in Q3; Ends with $2.2 Million

Kim raises 5x more in contributions than Democrat opponents combined

Yorba Linda, CA – This week, Congresswoman Young Kim announced she raised nearly $1 million over the last three months. The impressive fundraising haul brings her to $2.2 million cash-on-hand as she seeks reelection in one of 18 Republican-held districts that President Biden won in 2020. Rep. Kim is one of only four Republicans in a targeted seat to have brought in over $3 million during 2023.

Kim’s fundraising haul is five times more than the combined total raised by her Democrat opponents. Impressively, 25% of Kim’s haul came from unitemized contributions under $200, showing the depth and reach of her grassroots support.

“Congresswoman Kim was first elected on a promise to fight for her community and work through the dysfunction of Washington to deliver for Southern California. Her continued fundraising success, especially at the grassroots level, is a reflection of her work delivering on that promise over the last 3 years,” said Sam Oh, General Consultant to the Congresswoman.

Congresswoman Young Kim has been named one of the most effective members of Congress and serves on the Foreign Affairs and Financial Services Committees.

The Cook Political Report currently rates her district as Likely Republican. In 2022, Kim was re-elected by 13.6% in a seat that Biden won by 1.9%
