Fullerton, CA — Young Kim, candidate for California’s 39th Congressional District, raised a total of $910,503 in the third quarter of the year and has over $340,648 cash on hand. This number surpasses Kim’s 2nd Quarter by over $200,000 and leaves the campaign in a strong position with less than a month left until the November 6 election.
“I am so grateful for the strong support that our campaign has received over the past three months,” said Young Kim. “Our support has continued to grow since the June primary and we are excited for the final stretch of the campaign. We are well-positioned to tackle the final three weeks and win in November.”
The 39th District is currently represented by U.S. Representative Ed Royce, who is retiring from Congress. Kim was the top vote-getter in the June Primary out of 17 candidates with 21.2% of the vote. She faces Democrat Gil Cisneros, who barely survived a heated primary contest against six Democratic opponents.
An immigrant, small-business owner and key adviser to Representative Ed Royce, Young Kim has also been named a “Young Gun”, the NRCC’s highest candidate designation.
