Orange County, Los Angeles & San Bernardino County Supervisors Endorse Young Kim

Local Regional Leaders Coalesce Behind Young Kim’s Campaign for U.S. Congress

Fullerton, CA–Today, Young Kim, candidate for California’s 39th congressional district, announced the endorsements of the following thirteen current and former County Supervisors from the district’s three counties:

“I’m humbled by the outpouring of support from these respected regional leaders. I have worked hand in hand with each of them on key local issues such as reducing traffic gridlock, protecting taxpayers, and ensuring we keep our families safe, and I look forward to working with them as a member of Congress,” said Young Kim, a former California State Assemblywoman.

“Local regional leaders and I support Young Kim for Congress because she understands our issues, has personally worked with us on regional solutions, and gets things done,” said former Los Angeles County Supervisor Mike Antonovich.

“I proudly support Young Kim for Congress because she is a consensus builder who delivers results to improve the quality of life for all Orange County residents,” added Lisa Bartlett, Chairwoman of the Orange County Board of Supervisors.

Kim’s campaign has gotten off to a strong start garnering the early endorsements of the Republican Party of Orange County, Republican Party of Los Angeles County, Lincoln Club of Orange County, and the Los Angeles County Lincoln Clubs. Kim has also received the endorsement of over one hundred local elected officials as well as House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, U.S. Representatives Ken Calvert, Devin Nunes, Doug LaMalfa, Paul Cook, Tom McClintock, and former U.S. Representative Ed Royce.

California’s 39th congressional district overlaps portions of Orange, Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties and includes the cities and communities of Anaheim, Brea, Buena Park, Fullerton, La Habra, Placentia, Yorba Linda, Diamond Bar, Hacienda Heights, La Habra Heights, Rowland Heights, Walnut, and Chino Hills.
