Young Kim solidifies herself as clear Republican frontrunner with early endorsement of local Republican Party

Fullerton, California– Today, the Republican Party of Los Angeles County announced their early endorsement of Young Kim, who is running for California’s 39th Congressional district.

“Young Kim’s experience and proven track record of cutting taxes, promoting a business friendly climate, and creating jobs is second to none,” said Dr. Richard Sherman, Chairman of the Los Angeles County Republican Party. “Young Kim is a strong fiscal conservative who will fight on behalf of all taxpayers, and we’re proud to support her for Congress.”

Previously, Kim’s campaign announced the endorsements of House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, U.S. Representatives Ken Calvert, Devin Nunes, Doug LaMalfa, Paul Cook, and Tom McClintock, and former U.S. Representative Ed Royce.

The early endorsement of Young Kim by the Republican Party of Los Angeles County more than ten months before the California primary further solidifies Young Kim as the best positioned Republican to take on Democrat Gil Cisneros.

California’s 39th congressional district overlaps portions of Orange, Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties and includes the Los Angeles cities and communities of Diamond Bar, Hacienda Heights, La Habra Heights, Rowland Heights, and Walnut.
